Macbeth and Measure for Measure Classes had another fabulous opportunity last week with a visit from Estelle from the Isle of Wight Heritage Service. She brought a collection of fossils with her and the children took on the role of fossil hunters, hunting for different objects in the collection and finding out what each one used to look like. They also took part in an activity exploring which animals were dinosaurs and which were not, with some surprising results. Since her visit, many of the children have been inspired to try fossil hunting both inside and outside of school and we look forward to seeing more of their findings.
